Home solar and batteries, sized to how you live.
Run the house on your own sunshine by day, keep it going into the evening with a battery, and stay powered in a blackout if you choose. Every system starts with your bills, not a brochure.

Not sure which fits? That's what the free assessment is for. We'll look at when you use power and tell you which option pays back best.
Rooftop solar
Panels sized to your roof and daytime use. A strong fit if someone's home during the day or you run the pool, aircon or dishwasher on sunshine.
Quote solar
Hybrid system
Solar plus storage, so midday surplus covers the evening peak. Add blackout backup for essential circuits if you want it.
Quote solar + battery
Add a battery
Keep the energy you currently export for a few cents and use it at night instead. We'll check your inverter and switchboard first.
Quote a batteryMake your sunshine last into the night
Feed-in tariffs are low and evening rates aren't. A battery soaks up the solar you'd otherwise export and hands it back from late afternoon, when the household gets home and peak pricing starts.
- Federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program: an upfront discount on eligible batteries, delivered through STCs. Eligible systems may qualify (the program requires installation by an SAA-accredited installer), and we'll confirm eligibility in your quote.
- Tapered by size: since 1 May 2026, full support applies to the first 14 kWh of usable capacity, a reduced rate from 14–28 kWh, a smaller rate from 28–50 kWh, and none above 50 kWh.
- Steps down every six months: the discount per kWh reduces on a published schedule.
- NSW VPP incentive: NSW households may be eligible for a NSW Government incentive for connecting a battery to a virtual power plant, which can be combined with the federal discount.
General information only, current as of October 2026. Eligibility and amounts are confirmed in your written quote.
What could solar do for your bill?
Slide to your last quarterly bill. You'll get a ballpark system size and savings range in a few seconds. Your real quote is built from your actual usage data.
How we worked this out
- Sydney solar yield of about 3.9 kWh per kW of panels per day, averaged over a year.
- Your bill is converted to usage at about 33c/kWh after a daily supply charge of about $1.10.
- Panels are sized to generate about 125% of your average daily usage, then rounded up to a common system size (6.6, 8, 10, 13.2, 15 or 20 kW; minimum 6.6 kW). Systems above about 10 kW usually need three-phase power and network approval.
- Batteries are sized at about half your daily usage, rounded up to a common size (10, 13.5, 16, 20 or 27 kWh usable; minimum 10 kWh).
- Solar you use yourself saves the full rate; exported solar earns about 5c/kWh. Without a battery about 35% of solar is used at home, with one about 75%, capped at 90% of your usage.
- Savings shown as a ±20% range. Excludes system price, the battery discount and tariff changes.

Your usage first
We read your bills, and smart-meter data where you have it, to see when you actually use power.
Your roof, properly
Orientation, shading, pitch and condition, plus your switchboard and network export limits.
Numbers in writing
Your quote shows the system, estimated savings and the assumptions behind them.
Paperwork handled
Network approvals, metering, STCs and battery discounts. Electrical work under licence 476190C.

Usually a strong fit if you…
- Use a lot of power in the evening: cooking, heating and cooling, EV charging
- Export lots of daytime solar for a low feed-in tariff
- Want backup during outages
- Plan to stay in your home for a few years
Not sure? We'll tell you honestly if the numbers don't stack up.

What size system do I need?
It depends on your usage, roof space, budget and network export limits. We size it from your bills, not a rule of thumb.
Will the battery work in a blackout?
Only if it's set up for backup. Many batteries can power essential circuits during an outage when installed with the right backup configuration. We'll explain the options and costs.
What is a virtual power plant (VPP)?
A VPP links many home batteries so an energy company can draw on stored energy at peak times, usually in exchange for credits or payments. In NSW, joining an eligible VPP may unlock an additional government incentive.
Do I need to do anything about the rebates?
Eligible systems may qualify for STC-based solar and battery discounts. We'll confirm eligibility in your quote and explain any paperwork involved.
Can you finance my system?
